BOARD MEETING NEWS COVERAGE

The Lincoln Parish School Board believes that one of the paramount responsibilities of a School Board in a democracy is to keep the public informed of its actions.   All regular and special meetings of the Lincoln Parish School Board, with such exceptions as provided in policy BCBK, Executive Sessions, shall be open to representatives of the press, television, and radio.  The proceedings of the meetings may be recorded by these representatives.

In the event that representatives of the news media are unable to attend a meeting of the Board, they shall be provided upon request, a summary of important School Board action.
