STUDENT TRANSPORTATION INSURANCE PROGRAM

Each bus operator, ten (10) days prior to the commencement of each school year, shall provide the Supervisor of Transportation with a copy of his/her insurance policy covering a full year and a paid receipt for the policy, unless covered by payroll deduction.  Failure to comply with this regulation will result in suspension without pay of the bus operator until such time as the regulation is complied with.

Each policy must provide the minimum coverage approved by the Board. Currently the minimum limits are $100/300/50.

The Board shall require all bus operators to participate in a fleet plan of insurance with exceptions granted only to individuals on application to the School Board.
